There really is nothing quite like a warm slice of fresh bread served with butter and honey on top.

Ingredients

  • 5 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon of instant yeast
  • 1/2 tablespoon of sugar
  • 1/2 tablespoon of salt
  • 1 cup of buttermilk
  • 1 1/2 cup of water
  • 1 tablespoon of coconut oil

Directions

1Mix together water and buttermilk, add sugar and yeast. Mix it all together until yeast is dissolved. Into the mixture add the rest of the ingredients. I use the bread maker on a manual setting to knead the dough for me. If you don’t have one, combine all the ingredients in the large bowl and knead the dough for about 20 to 30 minutes, till it smooth and elastic.

2Divide the dough into two equal loaves and put them in the heavy buttered bread pans. Using a sharp knife cut the line on the top of each loaf. If you don’t do that, when you baking your bread the bubble will appear inside of it. And trust me you don’t want to have a giant hole in your bread. Let the dough rise. In the warm months, it takes about 30 minutes in the winter, and in early spring it will take about 50 to 60 minutes.

3Once your loaves nearly tripled in size, as you see here in the picture. Move them into the oven and bake them at 420 degrees for 25 minutes. (VERY IMPORTANT- DO NOT PREHEAT YOUR OVEN. Turn it on after you place your bread in the oven.) After 25 minutes, rotate the bread, cover it with foil and bake another 10 minutes. Enjoy!

Gooey Moist Chocolate Cake

This cocoa-based cake is deeply chocolatey and incredibly moist.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup freshly brewed hot coffee
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened natural cocoa powder
  • 3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup full-fat sour cream
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 8 tablespoons (1 stick) unsalted butter, at room temperature
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 1/4 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Chocolate Ganache

  • 8 oz milk chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup of whipping cream

Directions

1Preheat the oven to 350°F. Prepare a 10-inch round cake pan by greasing it with cooking spray or lots of butter and then lining the bottom with parchment paper.

2In a different bowl using a mixer beat the butter and sugar on medium speed until light and fluffy, add the eggs to the mixture one at a time. Mix till the mixture combined and fluffy peaks appear, so about 2 minutes.

3In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.

4Combining all the ingredients together. At low speed, mix in a third of the flour mixture and half of the coffee mixture Into the butter and eggs mixture. Add another third of the flour mixture and all the remaining coffee mixture. After that is mixed in, carefully fold in the remaining flour mixture with a spatula till all the ingredients are fully incorporated. The batter will be running, don’t worry it suppose to be that way.

5Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan. Bake for 25 minutes. Rotate the pan in the oven and bake for 25 minutes more. Remove from the oven and let cool for at least 30 mins. Then turn the cake out onto the cooling rack but be very careful due to the cake being moist it is fragile. Remove the parchment, and let the cake cool completely.

6Preparing Chocolate Ganache Place the chocolate chips into a bowl and set them aside. Heat the heavy cream till just begins to simmer. Pour the cream over the chocolate chips and let stand for 2 minutes. Mix until smooth and pour over cooled cake. Let the ganache set for at least 15 mins. Slice and serve!

Ingredients

  • Beef Choice Angus Chuck Roast, 4.38 LB
  • 1 bottle of Tony Chachere’s Roasted Garlic and Herb Injectable Marinade
  • 2 medium onions
  • 4 large carrots
  • 4 medium potatoes
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon pepper to taste
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons garlic powder
  • 1/2 Delax Stirfry frozen veggies 20 oz bag.

Directions

1Mix all the spices together, rub them into a roast. Inject the roast with half of the marinade. Marinate the roast for at least 5 hours, overnight is better.

2When you are ready to cook your roast, Peal carrots, onions, and potatoes. Cut your vegetables into big chunks. I cut my onions and potatoes into 4ths and carrots to match their size. Place them into a deep baking pan, salt, and pepper them to your taste. You should still have half a bottle of marinade left. Use half of this half on the veggies. Mix well.

3AIn the skillet, sear the roast to golden brown on all sides. Put the roast on top of the veggies. In the skillet where you browned the roast add one cup of water, salt, and pepper to taste. When it starts to seamer added the broth to the roast. Preheat oven to 350, bake for 3 hours. When 3 hours pass, take the roast out onto the serving dish. Add frozen vegetables to carrots and potatoes, cover with foil, and put back in the oven for 15 minutes at 350 degrees. Serve it with rice or mashed potatoes. Enjoy!
